Insert Tweets Into Your Blog Post

I use Twitter as a micro-blogging platform. I assume that many of my readers do not use Twitter, and I want to share my Twitter posts (called “tweets”) with them. Enter Twitter Inserter.

Twitter Inserter: A Windows Live Writer Plugn

Twitter Inserter my first Windows Live Writer plugin. It compiles your recent tweets into a nice bulleted list and converts all of the appropriate text to clickable links, then inserts it into your Live Writer blog post.

Windows Live Writer is “a desktop application that makes it easier to compose compelling blog posts using Windows Live Spaces or your current blog service.” It also works well with Community Server, which is what my blog is built on.

Excellent plugin, however after somedays I am nnot able to post my tweets because the plugin is not validating my username and pass. I did not change it. Any ideas?

This issue was caused by a Twitter API change. In order to fix it I had to update Twitter Inserter with the latest version of TweetSharp. That fixed it.

Unfortunately, the Twitter API appears to have changed again and I am experiencing the same issue. TweetSharp has not been update, so I am not sure when I will have this fixed.

Nice plugin, but it will be helpful if the most recent tweet is shown first along with the the time. The latest version shows the most recent tweet last.

I'm not seeing the plugin in Live Writer at all.  Not showing up in Plugins under options or under the insert menu..

@Jeff - It should show up under the Insert menu. What version of Live Writer are you using? Did you download the latest version of Twitter Inserter? You can get it from the live writer plugins website.
