About Tod Birdsall
Like many software developers, my love of video games kindled an interest in programming. I eventually realized that playing games and writing code for them are two completely different things. Thankfully I found that I loved programming and problem solving, and I also have knack for business analysis. I take advantage of this skill set to develop business applications for my clients.
My programming life-cycle has included HTML and Javascript, Perl, Classic Active Server Pages, and many others. The programming language I tend to use the most is C#, since the majority of applications I create are built on top of ASP.NET.
I enjoy writing and sharing knowledge with others. Blogging seemed like a natural extension of both. This site has evolved over the years and I now focus on micro-blogging, via Twitter. I post a summary of my tweets to this blog daily. In these daily tweet summaries, you will find articles and news about programming and technology that I find interesting and feel my readers will too.
I currently reside in Central Illinois where I am actively involved in the Bloomington .NET Users Group, which I helped start.
